Before cold water surfing became a marketing tool it was known as surfing, and us lot here in northern Europe did it all the time, and explored the frontiers of fickle cold and very occasionally very good waves. Ten years ago now Ian Battrick made this book, with friends Timmy Turner, Josh Mulcoy, The Bruhwiler Brothers, Chris Noble and many more cold friends. It's a classic, was very limited in its print run. We have just re-printed some for subscribers, but there will be no more in print, so we will tomorrow start releasing chapters of it digitally. It's a crazy adventure in a time when social media was a joke, and you could actually go somewhere without people posting daily updates of what they were eating.
