The Monday Morning Wave

A wet January at Porthleven, back in the time of film, this was shot on a now ancient stock called Scala, which was a black and white slide film. What was unusual this day was that the north coast of Cornwall was completely flat, bar wind chop from he stiff northerlies. The swell was incredibly south, which meant 'Leven got it all, although rides were shorter than usual.
