We did run out of subscriptions thanks to a shortage int he recycled paper we use. We're not prepared to compromise on the paper and ink combo, hence why they disappeared. Our printer though has been awesome and we have sourced some more, even when supplies are crazy low thanks to the Russia situation where a lot comes from and China as well.

So we have 60 subs, that's it. You get for £25 issues 105 (which is currently shipping) to 110, so six issues and if you've missed any 101-104 you can have them as well. Plus full access to our archive as well.

We are the highest quality journal when it comes to content in Europe, and we're also the smallest independent, so we rely on all the help we can get.

This is only available in the UK

issue 105  Is Out

we look at the limits of big wave surfing, travel to El Salvador, Scotland Ireland, France and Hawaii.

Issue 106

we travel to Heligoland, Greenland, Norway and Svalbard to mention just a couple of places (head to our main site for more detail on that) 106 will be with you in late June.

Issue 107

We wanted to have an issue post covid that was a total release, so we pulled together ten long tales of the ultimate in goose chasing madness. I published the first named goose chase back in Wavelength, it wasn’t a new term obviously but we wanted to capture the spirit of the classic Operation Tubequests by DC Green that we had all grown up with in ASL. So Issue 107 is a homage to this, six writers, ten stories, in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Indonesia, Australia, Costa Rica, Canada, Norway and Iceland.

Issue 108

Back in the day we used to have the green awards, we had a good look at these but decided there was so much good stuff going on that they were not needed anymore. But we wanted to do an issue highlighting the good and bad of our world, it isn’t boring, it isn’t designed to shock, but it is an issue to open all of our eyes as to what’s really going on.

The lead feature looks at dendangeredwaves, did you know there are plans for various developments that could affect surf at Porthleven, Staithes, Aberystwyth Harbour Trap, Bournemouth and even Towan Beach in Newquay? That’s not to say they will happen, but money talks…

We ask the question why after a decade since its development, we aren’t all wearing Yulex wetsuits?

We look at boards, which is a tricky one, as clearly boards are not throwaway items, hell I still ride one for the early nineties, so it definitely isn’t single use. However millions, yes millions of foamier are now being produced every year, and we revel in it.

We talk to companies making a difference, organisations trying to save our seas, and it’s all for the good of surfing.

We have exactly 100 of these subscriptions and it will be amazing if you can support us, we rely on readers not the industry.

You also get access to our digital archive which will include features from issues 1-100
